Earlier, Xiaomi was rumored to launch Xiaomi Pad 7 series, which will replace the Pad 6 series launched back in April 2023. Finally, the company has revealed the official launch date, which will take place on October 29 in China. Subsequently, the published poster also reveals the design. According to the poster, the Xiaomi Pad 7 series supports a magnetic keyboard. In terms of design, it is likely to adopt a metallic design just like its predecessor.
Regarding the core specs, the standard Xiaomi Pad 7 will have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while, the Pad 7 Pro has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. Both tablets will sport the same 11.16-inch LCD screen with 144 Hz refresh rate. In terms of charging speeds, the standard one will get the 45W charging, and the Pro variant will get the 67W fast charging support.
In addition, the Xiaomi Pad 7 series comes with the new Xiaomi Surge OS 2 system, which is expected to bring exclusive optimizations and new features to Xiaomi Tablets. It is worth noting that the new OS will bring the company’s self-developed Hyper Core kernel technology, Hyper AI subsystem, and Hyper Connect intelligent architecture.
