Earlier this month, Xiaomi announced to launch of as many as three phones, namely Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Xiaomi Mix Flip, and Redmi K70 Ultra. We already reported about the launch date of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Redmi K70 Ultra. Finally, the confirmation also came for the Xiaomi Mix Flip, which is also launching alongside. According to the company’s official website, Xiaomi Mix Flip will be launched on July 19 at 19:00 CST in China. Hence, it is confirmed that Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Mix Flip, and Redmi K70 Ultra arriving at the same launch event.
We already know that the company is making its debut in the flip phone industry with the launch of Xiaomi Mix Flip. It is reported that the main highlights of this phone are the large secondary screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship performance, and slim body. Regarding the camera, the phone will use a Leica dual-camera setup. The main camera uses the Light Hunter 800 sensor, which is 1/1.55 inches in size, has 50 megapixels, and supports OIS optical image stabilization.
There is a 60MP OV60A telephoto lens with a sensor size of 1/2.8 inches, a unit pixel area of 0.61μm, and supports 2x optical zoom. The front camera will be a 32MP Howe OV32B sensor. The phone has a built-in 1145mAh+3595mAh (4740 mAh) dual-mechanism battery carrying 67W fast charging support. In terms of design, it adopts the mainstream dual-screen design where the secondary screen on the back is large. Meanwhile, the rear dual cameras are arranged vertically along with curved glass edges.
Overall, we have a precise look at this device as far as design is concerned, also key specifications are almost confirmed.
