After the launch of Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, we may see another smartphone in this series named Vivo X100 Ultra. In terms of specifications, the Vivo X100 Ultra is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon Gen 3 processor. The display department can take care of the Samsung E7 AMOLED curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. The key highlight of this phone is the company’s self-developed dedicated imaging chip V3. As we already know, the phone is camera-centric. Hence, it is expected to bring hefty camera lenses.
Compared with the X100 Pro, the main camera of the vivo X100 Ultra might be upgraded to the Sony LYT900 sensor, which is currently Sony’s most powerful 1-inch outsole image sensor. In terms of telephoto, the phone is equipped for the first time with a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO super periscope telephoto camera equivalent to a 100mm focal length. It supports up to 200x digital zoom and has a zoom capability far exceeding that of other flagship phones. Since all these specifications are rumored-based, nothing is confirmed yet.
