Vivo X Fold3 Pro Will Be Available in 12GB/256GB Variant

Vivo to launch its X Fold3 Pro Smartphone in 12GB RAM & 256GB Storage Variant at Lower Price During 618 Festival Sale.

Huang Tao, vice president of vivo products, today announced that Vivo X Fold3 Pro will be available in 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variants during the 618 festival sale, which will be exclusively available through online channels. It is worth noting that China celebrates the shopping festival from June 1 to June 18 every year. So, this phone can be anytime launch during this period. He wrote in a Weibo post,

“During 618, we will also launch a new online exclusive X Fold3 Pro 12+256GB version. This is to lower the threshold and let everyone use a folding flagship that can be used frequently and widely used as soon as possible.”

Currently, the device is available in two variants: 16GB RAM/512GB storage and 16GB RAM/1TB storage. The price is also on the expensive side, which starts from 9,999 CNY in China roughly converted into 1,400 USD. The new variant is expected to be available for around 9,000 CNY, providing it more affordability. Subsequently, the company also starts teasing this smartphone in India indicating an imminent launch. Hopefully, this variant will also launch in the Indian market at a more affordable price.

VIVO-X-FOLD-3-PRO-NEW-VARIANT

In terms of specifications, this is a full-fledged flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood. The key highlight of this smartphone is its large 8.03-inch foldable display, which offers 2200 x 2480p resolution at 120Hz refresh rate and massive 4,500-nits brightness. The smartphone carries a triple rear camera with a 50MP primary sensor combined with 64MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide sensors. There is a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Apart from that, Vivo X Fold3 Pro packs a 5,700 mAh non-removable battery with 100W fast-charging support. It also supports 50W wireless charging. The smartphone runs on Android 14-based OriginOS 4. The device weighs around 236 grams and offers IPX8 protection against water. Overall, the company doesn’t make any compromises in terms of specifications.
