Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone in the coming months. Today, a smartphone carrying model number SM-F956U has been stopped on the popular benchmarking website GeekBench (via: Sammobiles). The listed variant belongs to the USA ending with the “U” letter. The listing further reveals its processor, RAM along with benchmarking scores.
According to the Geekbench listing, the smartphone will pack the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is not surprising at all, because its predecessor was unveiled with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset under the hood. As shown in the listing, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is equipped with an octa-core CPU divided into four clusters. The primary core is clocked at 3.4GHz, three cores are clocked at 3.15GHz, two power-efficient cores are clocked at 2.96GHz, and the remaining two cores operate at 2.27GHz.
In the meantime, the listing further reveals the presence of 12GB of RAM running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. On top of that, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be skinned with the latest version of OneUI. As far as benchmark scores are concerned, the listing shows 1,964 for single-core and 6,619 for multi-core results. These scores are pretty much comparable to other Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered smartphones.
Besides, the same smartphone has already surfaced on 3C carrying model number SM-F9560. The listing showed 25W charging, which is pretty much standard for Samsung smartphones. When it comes to the launch date, both Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones are rumored to launch anywhere in July month. But we have to wait for the official confirmation.
