Samsung is about to launch its next-generation fold smartphone in the coming months. This Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 is rumored to make its official debut in July month alongside Galaxy Z Flip6. It has already been part of several rumors and leaks. Once again, a well-known tipster Ice Universe has published multiple images of Galaxy Z Fold6 revealing both front and rear designs. These images were published on the Chinese social media Weibo as well as on X.
Starting from the front, it somehow resembles the Galaxy Fold5 with some noticeable changes in design. Subsequently, the tipster claims that Fold 6’s display width is just as much as the Fold 5’s screen width along with its right bezel. As shown in the images, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a wider cover screen, meaning when you open the phone, the inner display is wider. It will apparently improve the typing experience on the cover screen, but it also means that the inner screen has a flatter aspect ratio.
Furthermore, there are sharper corners and a more pointed display radius on the Fold6, which reminds us much of the Galaxy S24 Ultra more than it does of Samsung’s past foldable. There is a punch-hole camera in the middle, similar to its predecessor. Other than that, the Galaxy Fold6’s display also seems brighter, but we don’t have any idea at which brightness these phones were photographed.
Looking at the rear design, the camera module has visible changes, but still, there are three vertically aligned cameras at the back just like the Fold5. Speaking of the changes, the camera module seems more refined with fewer bezels around the corners. It is a negligible change, but a welcome move from Samsung to make it more attractive. Apart from that, volume rockers are placed in the same manner, but slightly on the uppish side. The sharp edges are also visible from the rear. Overall, the next-generation Galaxy Fold6 brings some visible changes in design, especially on the front side. The back side is more or less is same except from the camera module.
