Redmi K70 Ulta AKA Extreme Edition, which will be released on the evening of July 19, has a second version known as Redmi K70 Ultra Champion Edition. The company has officially released the official renders of the Redmi K70 Ultra Champion Edition. Compared with the Redmi K70 Ultra, the main change of the Champion Edition is its appearance. Redmi has partnered with the well-known super luxury car brand Lamborghini providing it a highly recognisable design.
Going with the provided images, this Champion Edition will be available in at least two color options: Yellow and Green. Regarding the design, the camera module is designed in the shape of a shield, with very conspicuous golden line decoration along and a color-matching layout. A customized “Lamborghini” logo is engraved at the middle of the rear-bottom. According to the company, the design is inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 racing car paying tribute to the racing aesthetics.
In terms of configuration, it is expected to bring no obvious difference compared to the standard one. The Redmi K70 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. The phone will have a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS support. The camera also uses self-developed Xiaomi AISP, an imaging algorithm to improve the camera quality, making it the first Redmi smartphone to adopt this functionality. It is equipped with a 1.5K resolution C8+ luminous material flat OLED display supporting a 144Hz refresh rate.
Besides, the device also caries Xiaomi Pengpai T1 signal enhancement chip, which according to the company improves WiFi performance by 12%, GPU performance by 20%, and 5G WiFi signals by 58%. In terms of storage, it arrives with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM + 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will pack a 5500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Besides, it comes with a dedicated D1 GPU enhancement chip to improve the gaming experience. The Redmi K70 Ultra will be officially announced on July 19 in China along with Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip.
