As we already know, RealMe is going to launch a new smartphone named Realme GT Neo 6 this month. Finally, the company has officially confirmed its launch date. The smartphone will be officially announced on May 9, at 14:00 through a digital conference, the company posted on its official Weibo account. Regarding its specification, this is a sub-flagship category smartphone with decently high-end configuration onboard. Recently, the smartphone was listed on the company’s official website revealing some of its key specifications.
According to the listing, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 chipset, making it 4th smartphone followed by the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, Redmi Turbo 3, and iQOO Z9 Turbo. This is a toned-down version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or comparable to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. Furthermore, the Realme GT Neo 6 supports a whopping 120W fast charging support out of the box, which has become mainstream nowadays, thanks to the advancement in charging technology. Apart from that, the smartphone will arrive with up to 1TB of storage.
The remaining specifications are not yet official. But the device is reported to arrive with a 6.78-inch BOE 1.5K 8T LTPO display with massive 6,000-nits brightness, which somehow seems to be a gimmick just like other high-brightness smartphones. Most of these phones only count individual pixels, not the combined display brightness. In terms of availability, the smartphone is already up for pre-order on its official website. Soon after the announcement, the device will start selling in the Chinese market. We don’t know about its global debut. Hopefully, soon we will hear more on this matter.
