Oppo is all set to launch its new smartphone named Oppo A3 5G. A new smartphone with model number PKA110 recently appeared on the China Telecom Product Library, which also confirmed the Oppo A3 5G moniker. The listing also added the official renders of this smartphone as well as the full list of specifications.
According to the listing, the smartphone is powered by the SM6375, which is expected to be either Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 or Snapdragon 695 5G. processor. It is understood that Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 is an overclocked version of Snapdragon 695 5G, which uses two Cortex A78 cores cloaked at 2.3GHz, while the remaining six Cortex-A55 operate at 2.0GHz. Both the chipsets have similar model numbers, namely SM6375-AC for Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and SM6375 for Snapdragon 695 5G.
In terms of display, there is a 6.7-inch Full HD+ panel at 1080 x 2412 pixels. Regarding the optics, there is a dual-camera setup at the rear, which includes a 50MP primary sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. The front side is surrounded by an 8MP punch-hole camera to take selfies.
The device comes in multiple memory options: 8 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 256GB, and 12 GB + 512 GB. It also comes in multiple shades, including Purple, Black, and Green. Besides, the device packs a 5,000 mAh, which includes a Type-C charging port. While the charging speed is not yet confirmed. It runs on Android 14-based custom ColorOS skin out of the box. Of course, as the name suggests, this is a 5G-compatible smartphone with dual sim support.
Speaking of the design, the device is made of plastic material. As far as dimensions are concerned, the smartphone measures 162.54×75.44×7.15mm and weighs 179 grams. The listing also suggests its price to be around 2099 CNY, roughly converted into 289 USD or 24,000 INR for the base variant, which goes up to 2599 CNY for the high-end variant, converted into 358 USD or 29,875 INR. Subsequently, the listing also indicates July 5 as a launch date. But, we are still waiting for the official announcement from the company.
