Nubia’s Red Magic gaming tablet to be announced on September 5 in China

ZTE subsidiary Nubia is planning to launch a new gaming tablet as it reveals a new launch event, which will take place on September 5. A new product launch conference for the Red Magic gaming tablet will be held at 15:00 in China. However, the company didn’t reveal anything else apart from its launch date, but the tablet is likely to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version. And the company will become the first to do so with its tablet.

For reference, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version arrives with a slightly overclocked CPU at 3.4GHz, instead of 3.3GHz found on the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. In addition to that, the GPU is also overclocked to 1.0GHz, which is 900MHz for the standard version. Being a gaming tablet, the new Red Magic tablet can take advantage of these configurations to provide an enhanced gaming experience.

To remind you, previously, the company launched the Red Magic 9S Pro series, relying on the same chipset, combined with the advanced cooling system independently developed by Red Magic. Subsequently, it won the crown of Highest AnTuTu scores on any Android phone, which demonstrates its outstanding strength in performance optimization and cooling technology. We are also expecting a similar performance with its new tablet.

At present, the official has not disclosed more information about the tablet. More details about this tablet, such as screen specifications, battery life performance, appearance design, etc., are still kept mysterious and will be fully revealed on the day of the press conference. But going with its official poster, the Red Magic gaming tablet is expected to be launched in two versions with the bigger and smaller form factor. Hence, we have to wait for the further information. So, stay tuned with us!
