ZTE sub-brand Nubia is holding a launch event on July 23rd in China, where the company will unveil the Nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version and Nubia Z60s Pro. The company has already confirmed some of the details for both devices. However, a lot more information still remains, especially for the Z60s Pro.
Recently, a device with the model number “NX725J” has been spotted on the popular benchmarking platform Geekbench. The listed device is supposed to be the Nubia Z60s Pro according to the IMEI database.
As shown in the Geekbench listing, the Nubia Z60s Pro is powered by an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.19GHz. It flaunts a tri-cluster CPU, where the primary core clocks at 3.19 GHz, four cores are clocked at 2.8 GHz, and the remaining three cores operate at 2.02 GHz.
Based on these frequencies, the smartphone is believed to carry a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is eventually a mild downgrade from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 found on its predecessor Nubia Z50s Pro. We were expecting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for this phone, but that is what the Geekbench listing indicates.
If we speak about the benchmarks, the listed device scores 2045 points in single-core and 5649 points in multi-core results. The listing further reveals the presence of Android 14 and 12GB of RAM. Besides, the company has already revealed that the Nubia Z60s Pro will have a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor. It will pack a 5100 mAh battery and 80W fast charging support.
It will further support two-way satellite communication for the domestic market. As far as availability is concerned, both Z60 Ultra Leading Version and Z60s Pro will be officially announced on July 23 in China. Later, these devices are expected to enter the global markets.
