We have previously reported IQOO’s upcoming smartphone IQOO Neo 9s Pro+, where the company launched the 1st teaser. Now, the company has officially revealed some more information regarding this phone. According to the latest Weibo post published by the Vivo (parent company of IQOO) brand manager, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood, which is already mentioned by various sources.
Furthermore, it will pack a 5500 mAh battery combined with 120W fast charging support. In terms of optics, it will have a dual camera setup with a 50MP + 50MP combination for both sensors. It runs on OriginOS 4.0 based on Android 14 out of the box. The post also confirms that it will be a slim device measuring 7.99mm in thickness.
Not only that, the device will include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner to enhance the overall security of this phone. Almost all the configurations are confirmed except for the display, which is expected to remain the same as IQOO 9s Pro. When it comes to launch, the upcoming IQOO Neo 9s Pro+ is set to be unveiled on July 11 at Universal Studios Beijing.
For reference, the standard IQOO 9s Pro is already available in the market, which was introduced with the Mediatek Dimensity 9300+. It accumulates a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED display at 1260 x 2800 pixels. Regarding memory, it includes up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Compared to the Neo9s Pro+, the standard variant includes a slightly smaller 5160 mAh battery supported by the same 120W fast charging support. Overall, there are many similarities between IQOO Neo9s Pro and Neo9s Pro+.
