After a long tail of rumors and leaks, finally, the IQOO has confirmed that it will launch IQOO 13 on October 30 giving it a tagline “Light of Performance” (translated). In the warm-up video, the official announced the appearance design of iQOO 13. The phone continues the design language of the previous generation. Further images reveal it to arrive in four color options, including Green, Black, Grey, and White.
It also includes new light effects integrated with the lens module. As we all know, the first generation of iQOO products used a similar Monster Halo light-sensing lighting effect design. This time, the new lighting effect of iQOO 13 can be seen as a tribute to that generation.
In terms of core specifications, iQOO 13 uses a BOE Q10 2K 6.82-inch flat display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, which claims to bring advancements in brightness, and power efficiency while increasing the panel’s overall lifespan. It is said to deliver a 12.5% increase in global peak brightness, over 50% reduction in color deviation, and a 10% reduction in power consumption.
It is the world’s first phone with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under the hood. The phone also becomes the world’s first Android phone to bring circularly polarized light eye protection technology, a true hardware-level integration according to the company. It is confirmed to arrive with a 6150 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, triple rear cameras where 50MP is a primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 64MP telephoto lens. Overall, IQOO 13 is a complete flagship phone with top-notch specifications expected under the hood.
