Huawei sub-brand Honor will launch a new entry-level 5G smartphone anytime soon dubbed Honor Play 60 Plus. The smartphone appears on the China telecom library with model number HONOR ALT-AN00. Subsequently, it confirmed the moniker Honor Play 60 Plus. A few days ago, the same smartphone was spotted on 3C certification with a 35W charger. At that time, it was speculated to be the Honor X60. But it has a different name.
Speaking of the specification, the new listing confirms almost all the key configurations. At the front, it supports a 6.77-inch LCD panel at 720 x 1610p resolution. The display is rumored to have a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset under the hood. The chipset consists of consists of having two Cortex-A78 @2.2GHz performance cores and four Cortex-A55 @1.95GHz energy efficiency cores. On top of that, there is a 6,000 mAh battery having 35W fast charging support.
Regarding optics, the Honor Play 60 Plus adapts a 50MP + 2MP dual camera at the back, and a 5MP selfie shooter at the front. There are multiple storage & RAM variants; 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. Moreover, it grabs three color options, Phantom Black, Wonderland Green, and Moonlight White.
The smartphone runs on Android 14 out of the box based on Honor’s custom UI MagicOS 8.0. The device dimensions are
166.9×76.8×8.09mm, weighing around 197 grams.
