Realme recently introduced its Realme 13 Pro series where two smartphones were released, namely Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+. Now, they are seemingly planning for the standard version. A device with model number RMX3952 has been spotted on the Chinese telecom Authority TENAA, which is alleged to become the standard Realme 13. Subsequently, the listing reveals the key specifications as well as the design of this device.
According to the TENAA listing, the device upholds a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LTPS display at 1080 x 2400p screen resolution. It is powered by an octa-core 2.2GHz chipset without disclosing its name. For reference, Realme 12 arrived with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC having a 2.2GHz clock speed. Hence, it is likely to retain the same chipset. Furthermore, the phone packs a 4880 mAh non-removable battery, which should be marketed as 5,000 mAh. Previously, the 3C listing revealed 45W charging for this phone.
Regarding the camera, this smartphone will have a 50MP primary camera combined with a 2MP snapper at the rear. Meanwhile, the front side is surrounded by a 16MP selfie shooter. In terms of memory, there are multiple variants available: 6/8/12/16GB RAM + 128/256/512GB, 1TB storage. The device measures 165.6×76.1×7.79mm and weighs 190 grams. Apart from that, all the necessary sensors are available, including fingerprint and face recognition. Necessary connectivity options are also there as well as 5G compatibility with SA/NSA modes.
Overall, Realme 13 is pretty much comparable to the Realme 12 with the same design and nearly identical specications. The only change we saw was in the camera department. The Realme 12 offers a 108MP + 2MP dual rear camera, while its successor is likely to have a 50MP + 2MP rear cameras. The selfie camera is now upgraded to 16MP instead of 8MP on its predecessor. The rest of the specs are identical, even the dimensions are the same.
