According to Chinese media reports, Huawei sub-brand Honor is planning to launch multiple devices in the coming months, including its upcoming Nova13 series, Honor X60, Foldable, and Flip phones. Recently, a device with the model number LRA-AN00 was certified by the Chinese authority 3C. As per the Weibo digital blogger, this is none other than Honor Magic V Flip. However, we can’t confirm its authenticity.
Furthermore, the certification information discloses that this new phone is produced by “Honor Device Co., Ltd.” supporting up to 66W (5V==2A, 10V==4A, 11V==6A) fast charging. The charger model number is HN-110600C00/HW-110600C02. Besides, the tipster also revealed that there is another high-end variant.
Honor Magic Flip V Expected Specs and Launch Date
It is understood that Honor is working on a new flip phone to compete against the Motorola Razr series and Samsung’s Z Flip lineup. According to media reports, Honor’s supply chain is currently purchasing the largest external screen in the industry. This shows that Honor’s small folding phone may not be far from being officially announced, and the “industry’s largest external screen” of this phone should be a relatively important functional feature.
In addition to that, last month, a new Honor flip phone patent emerged showing the side-by-side design in both folded and unfoled states. This certificate was approved on May 24 after a long two-year waiting period. Whether Honor will use this design or craft a completely different device is yet to be confirmed. Regarding specifications, the Honor Magic V Flip is rumored to pack a 4500 mAh battery, the biggest battery found on any Flip phone to date. The rest of the specifications are unknown.
Regarding its launch, a reliable tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed that this phone will be launched in June. If the provided information is true, the launch date is not far away. Hence, we will surely hear more about this device in the coming days. So, stay tuned with us for further information!
