Honor Magic V Flip has been confirmed to arrive on June 13 in China by the company officials. But, still, we aren’t aware of its configurations. Now, the company has started revealing some of the important features. Fang Fei, President of the product line of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., today revealed some of the key parameters of the outer screen.
She said, “Honor Magic V Flip innovatively brings the industry’s largest 4.0-inch external screen with an ultra-high screen-to-body ratio of 85%.” It will bring the industry’s first dynamic refresh rate of 0.1Hz~120Hz, she further added. The external LTPO panel will also support some important features, such as always-on-display (AoD).
Fang Fei said that Honor Magic V Flip has created the industry’s first “right-hand screen” for vertical folding, and for the first time adopted the camera design in the lower left corner of the outer screen, avoiding high-frequency usage areas, making it easier to operate with one hand when closed.
With the support of MagicOS 8.0, the external screen has now been adapted to applications that cover 80% of the full usage, claiming that “for the first time, the external screen has become the main screen.” All in all, the company is trying its best to make the external display fully functional.
Based on previous data, the Honor Magic V Flip reportedly has a 50MP OIS f/1.9 primary camera. Also, there is a secondary small sensor. In terms of memory, it will have up to 12GB RAM and 1TB of storage. The device is rumored to pack a 4,500 mAh battery along with 66W fast charging support. As we mentioned earlier, it will be revealed on June 13 in China. As far as the global launch is concerned, it is not yet decided.
