Honor Magicpad 2 will have industry’s first 3K 144Hz OLED display

Honor Magicpad 2 officially confirmed to arrive with industry's first 3K 144Hz OLED display along with a unique eye protection technology.

Previously, we learned about the Honor’s upcoming foldable smartphone named Honor Magic V3. This time, we have Honor MagicPad 2, which is the company’s next-generation tablet. The company released the official poster saying that this will be the industry’s first tablet equipped with a 3K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate OLED screen.

In a separate teaser, the company revealed that this tablet will be equipped with a 12.3-inch 3K 144Hz OLED screen, and brings support for AI-based defocus eye protection technology. It can intelligently adjust the screen display according to the user’s eye environment and habits to reduce visual fatigue and protect the user’s eyesight. Besides, there is very little information available regarding the specifications of Honor MagicPad 2. We will update you as soon as we get further information.

It is understood that Honor CEO Zhao Ming announced AI defocus eye protection technology at the 2024 Mobile World Congress, emphasizing the human-centered design concept of smart gadgets. Zhao Ming said that Honor Magic V3 will be the first to launch this technology, and the upcoming Magic series tablets will also support AI defocus eye protection technology.

Honor’s new launch event is held on July 12, revealing multiple products, including the next generation of folding flagship Honor Magic V3 and the Honor MagicBook Art 14 thin & light notebook.
