Earlier today, we reported about the confirmation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 overclocked version for the upcoming Red Magic 9s Pro lineup. Now, we have GeekBench scores to further confirm this argument. A smartphone with model number Nubia NX769J has been spotted on the Geekbench listing, which is the same as found on the Red Magic 9 Pro series. But the mentioned clock speed is 3.40GHz meaning it belongs to the upcoming Red Magic 9s Pro with an identical model number.
Speaking of the Geekbench scores, the new smartphone scores 2,319 in single-core and 7,215 in multi-core results. On average, the standard Red Magic Nubia 9 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scores around 2,250 in single and approx. 7,000 in multi-core. Hence, the overclocked variant slightly scores more than the standard one. Apart from that, the listing also confirms the 16GB RAM and the existence of Android 14. The interesting thing is that the Samsung S24 series also used the same variant. But the Red Magic 9s Pro series scores more than the S24 series.
Apart from that, the Red Magic 9S Pro series is expected to have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display at 1116 x 2480p resolution. It will inherit most of the specifications from the Red Magic 9 Pro series, including a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor followed by another 50MP ultrawide + a 2MP and an under-display 32MP selfie shooter. Moreover, the company holds a launch event for July 3, where the new series will be unveiled. Looking at the “AI Gaming” theme, a bunch of AI features are expected to enhance the gaming experience.
