ZTE sub-brand Nubia is holding a launch event on July 3, where the company will unveil its next-generation Red Magic 9s Pro series. A bunch of specifications have been already confirmed via official and unofficial channels. Now, the popular benchmarking platform Antutu has released benchmark scores for Red Magic 9s Pro+ with the attached model number NX769S_V2A, which is said to be the top variant of this series.
Speaking of the Antutu scores, the Red Magic 9s Pro+ scores a whopping 23,69,542 points, which is record-breaking for any Android smartphone on this platform. If we divide it into various aspects, it scores 4,85,363 points in CPU, 9,79,908 points in GPU, 5,07,149 in Memory, and 3,97,122 in UX. Overall, the new smartphone performs extraordinarily given the overclocked flagship chip. As we already know, the smartphone is powered by the leading edition of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 3.4GHz clock speed instead of 3.3GHz for the standard variant. The GPU is also tweaked to enhance the gaming experience.
Likewise, the listing also confirms the 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage inside this device. The listed smartphone runs on Android 14, which should be skinned by Red Magic OS out of the box. Apart from that, the Red Magic 9s Pro series is likely to borrow most of the other specifications from its previous generation, including a triple rear camera setup, and an under-display front camera. It is understood that being a gaming smartphone, it primarily focuses on high performance. This time company’s theme is AI Gaming. Hence, a bunch of AI features are expected.
Meanwhile, the company officially confirms some key features of the Red Magic 9s Pro series, such as a 93% aspect ratio display developed by BOE, an upgraded 6th generation 16MP under-screen selfie camera, and a 6500 mAh battery. The company further adds that the AI portrait algorithm has also been upgraded and the selfie camera resolution has increased by 30% despite having the same number of megapixels. Overall, the company has made several upgrades to improve the overall experience, not just gaming.
